The subproject researches the demographic and economic future of 6 coastal areas in Fife. It uses population projections from NRS (National Records Scotland) and interviews with key stakeholders in communities to explore how residents understand the future of their area, particularly focusing on the demographic and economic aspects. The research focuses on six electoral ward case studies: Rosyth; Inverkeithing and Dalgety Bay; Buckhaven, Methil and Wemyss Villages; East Neuk and Landward; St Andrews; and Tay Bridgehead.
